David Francis Effiong has been working with young people and children for more than 10 years. He is a Microsoft Certified Trainer, a Mandela Washington Fellow, a Savvy Fellow, and holds a mini Masters in Business Administration and certificates in Monitoring and Evaluation (University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business), in Sales Negotiation, in Product- Led Growth (PLG), in Scrum Fundamentals (SFC), Six Sigma Yellow Belt (SSYB), Network Security Expert (NSE), and is a CyberArk Certified Trustee. David Effiong is presently a Research Councillor at the Wheeler Institute through the London Business School. He is a community development worker and the co-founder/lead strategist of Dahel Consultants and Techies Limited – where he works with other data analysts and scientists to provide data-driven solutions to organizations, companies and businesses heavy on using data.

David loves using technology to drive change in communities as a trainer and a community development worker. As a Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate, he also leads a team of Product Designers, Data Scientists and Software Engineers to provide data-driven solutions and training to over 17,000 students and young professionals in at least 7 countries. He was one of the talented young Africans selected by the Department of State to have a private dinner with the United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken at Washington, DC, to talk about the need to build more inclusive communities in Africa. His formula for leading change is simple: "Start with the children and see the society take a better shape. Ignore the young, and stay afraid when old". But he believes in another thing – building the minds of young people to have hope in the future through little steps taken today.
